NEJM Resident 360

You probably already know that HSLS subscribes to The New England Journal of Medicine. But did you also know that our subscription gives you free access to NEJM Resident 360?

Resident 360 is a platform for residents, fellows, medical students, and physicians that offers career advice, discussion boards, quizzes, and lots of additional information to help you as you begin your medical career. Resident 360 is broken into seven different sections, each offering information on a different aspect of medicine or residency. The sections include:

Rotation Prep: Rotation Prep contains various crash courses in different areas of pediatrics and internal medicine. Each rotation (for example, cardiology or women’s health) includes an introduction, helpful literature reviews of different topics, guidelines, and more. Some sections include videos and case presentations. Each rotation includes a quiz to help you retain the information you learn.

Discussion: The Discussion section covers topics like creating a rank list for residencies, selecting a specialty, and strategies for keeping current with the literature. It allows you to interact with your peers and experts in the field as well as to view past discussions.

Career: In the Career section you can access advice on issues ranging from managing debt to dealing with burnout, exam preparation information, and the NEJM Career Center.

Learning Lab: The Learning Lab features interactive tools for learning. It provides a look at new (and sometimes controversial) clinical research through videos, interviews, and infographics. It also has the Curbside Consults podcast and image challenges where you can test your diagnosis skills via pictures.
