Register for CLC Genomics Workbench for Microbial Genomics Research

This class will provide an introduction to the use of CLC Genomics Workbench for microbial genomics analysis. Participants will learn how to access the CLCbio Genomics Server hosted by Pitt CRC, and will be introduced to the workflows and databases available in CLCbio. The workshop will cover amplicon-based analysis, including quality control (QC), OTU clustering and abundance, alpha and beta diversities, taxonomic analysis, and functional and drug resistance analysis.

Upon completion of this class, you will be able to:

  • access the CLCbio Genomics Server hosted by Pitt CRC
  • understand an overview of Microbial Genomics Analysis workflows and databases in CLC
  • perform Amplicon-based analysis – QC, OTU clustering and abundance, Alpha and Beta diversities
  • conduct taxonomic analysis – QC, taxonomic profiling
  • perform functional and drug resistance analysis
