This spring, Data Basics is a 4 part workshop series covering the basic techniques for data manipulation with the Python programming language. The series is oriented towards folks who have some experience with Python programming and are motivated to expand these skills to help with their research. Data Basics is open to Pitt graduate students, postdocs, researchers, faculty, and staff from all disciplines and any skill level.

This instance of Data Basics will be a BETA TEST of new, self-guided instructional materials. This means the workshop won’t include formal lecture, but rather provide support as you work through the materials and exercises.
