Trajectory analysis is a technique commonly applied to single cell RNA-Seq data in situations where the research question focuses on a dynamic process such as cell differentiation. RNA-Seq provides a cross-section of the transcription profiles of all the cells within the sample (typically tens of thousands), then trajectory analysis is applied to the arranged cells with respect to their progress in that process. In other words, a scientist can differentiate between the parent cells (like stem cells), their final offspring (such as terminally differentiated cell types), and various intermediate steps. In this webinar we will introduce you to trajectory analysis in Partek Flow.

You will learn how to:

  • Detect trajectories and cell states
  • Perform biological interpretation of the cell states
  • Order the cells with respect to the pseudotime
