ipawebinarIngenuity Pathway Analysis Webinar Series

WHEN: Thursdays in February, 1-1:45pm

Register here.

During the month of February, IPA experts Dr. Lynne Mullen and Dr. Jasmin Droege will be hosting a series of webinars introducing Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA). These webinars will focus on uploading your data, interpreting your results, and tips and tricks for doing RNA-Seq analysis in IPA.

  • 2/11: Uploading data in IPA
  • Learn how to format your own data and upload it into IPA. IPA can upload your experimental data to enable you to perform pathways visualization, literature searches on the molecules in the dataset, and enable you to perform core analyses.

    • Format the incoming data to be analyzed by IPA
    • Upload the data to be analyzed
    • Explore your uploaded data / start an analysis
  • 2/18: Interpreting the results of your Core Analysis in IPA
  • Learn how to view and interpret your analysis results in IPA. How to focus on the Core Analysis and the multiple ways of relating the molecules in your dataset to the body of information in the Ingenuity Knowledge Base. Discover more about:

    • Biological functions and diseases that are over-represented in your data, and the predicted directional effects on these functions and diseases
    • Signaling and metabolic canonical pathways enriched in your data
    • Predicted upstream regulators that might explain the changes observed in your data
    • Integrated Upstream Regulator results with Downstream Effects results to create causal hypotheses which explains what may be occurring upstream to cause particular phenotype or functional outcomes downstream
    • Molecular networks (algorithmically generated pathways describing potential molecular interactions in your experimental system)
  • 2/25: Tips and tricks for doing microRNA analysis in IPA
  • Learn about IPA’s extensive microRNA content and how to upload and analyse your microRNA data in IPA. IPA’s microRNA Target Filter allows you to confidently, quickly, and easily identify and prioritize mRNA targets by exploring the related biological context, and by examining microRNA-mRNA pairings.
