Funding Opportunity: Healthy Americas Research Consortium

The Healthy Americas Foundation is seeking to support up to 20 scholars using the All of Us dataset to study chronic disease in communities for which there are limited scientific research efforts. Successful applicants will receive up to $10,000 to support their research project and be part of the Foundation’s Healthy Americas Research Consortium.

Funded Training Opportunity: Build Your AI/ML Skills with AIM-AHEAD

Applications are now open for four paid AIM-AHEAD training programs, including the AIM-AHEAD All of Us Training Program for researchers working with the Researcher Workbench. Offered in partnership with the AIM-AHEAD Consortium, the All of Us Research Program, and RTI International, this program is designed to expand researcher participation in AI/ML and generate meaningful insights for communities nationwide. 

Over eight months, 25 trainees—including graduate students, postdocs, early-career faculty, healthcare professionals, and non-academic professionals—will gain hands-on experience with All of Us data through the AIM-AHEAD Connect Platform. Training includes proficiency in R, Python, Jupyter Notebook/R Studio, and model development, with topics such as merging and validating data, building and testing supervised models, addressing anomalies, and applying AI/ML to explore health differences. 

Selected participants will receive an $8,000 stipend and a $2,000 travel allowance to attend the 2026 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting. An informational webinar will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 4 p.m.
