Hybrid session: Attend online or in person in the Falk Library Classroom
Register for scRNA-Seq Data Analysis using PartekFlow
In this workshop, you will learn how to analyze scRNA-Seq data using the user-friendly Partek Flow software. The workshop will cover a range of topics, from data import to cell population identification and differential gene expression analysis.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completing this workshop, you should be able to:
- Import FASTQ/Count matrix files from an scRNA-Seq experiment into Partek Flow
- Run Cell Ranger software on FASTQ files to generate count matrix
- Perform quality checks (QC) on single-cell data
- Filter and normalize the data
- Generate PCA, t-SNE, and UMAP plots to visualize data
- Identify cell populations, biomarkers, and compute differential gene expressions between two cell populations
Target Audience:
Experimental biologists seeking to analyze scRNA-Seq data generated through experiments or retrieved from a repository such as GEO. The software covered in the workshop operates through a user-friendly, point-and-click graphical user interface, so neither programming experience nor familiarity with the command line interface is required.
