Information was current at time of publication.{"id":990,"date":"2008-12-05T13:32:02","date_gmt":"2008-12-05T18:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/updatereport\/?p=990"},"modified":"2008-12-05T13:32:02","modified_gmt":"2008-12-05T18:32:02","slug":"obtaining-materials-from-the-wpic-print-collection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/info.hsls.pitt.edu\/updatereport\/obtaining-materials-from-the-wpic-print-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Obtaining Materials from the WPIC Print Collection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WPIC videos are now available at Falk Library.\u00a0 Other materials from the WPIC print collection\u00a0will be available by request during this transition period.\u00a0 The information below describes the process for obtaining these materials depending on your affiliation.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nIf you are affiliated with UPMC or one of the University of Pittsburgh schools of the health sciences requests for books, videos, or journals articles can be submitted online through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/services\/documentdelivery\/index_html\">HSLS Document Delivery<\/a>.\u00a0 Once your request has been processed:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Books\u00a0from the WPIC collection may be picked up at one of the following HSLS library locations: Falk Library, UPMC Shadyside Libraries, Children\u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh Libraries.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Copies of articles from the WPIC collection will be scanned and delivered as a PDF file at no charge.<\/p>\n<p>If you are at the University of Pittsburgh, but not affiliated with one of the schools of the health sciences requests must be submitted through the <a href=\"http:\/\/clioserver.library.pitt.edu\/clioweb\/Inside\/\">University Library System<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are not affiliated with Pitt or UPMC:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inquire about interlibrary loan services from a local public library. Many public libraries are able to order copies of articles or books through their interlibrary loan networks.
