Pitt users can access BrowZine on their Web browser or through the easy-to-use mobile app.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Why Use BrowZine?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BrowZine\u2019s \u201cMy Bookshelf\u201d feature makes staying up-to-date easy. You simply select your favorite journals and then click on <strong>Add to My Bookshelf<\/strong>. New article notifications are sent automatically, and you always get the full text, whether you are onsite or working remotely.<\/p>\n<p>You can also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quickly view table of contents of current and past journal issues.<\/li>\n<li>Export citations to EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, RefWorks, Dropbox, and other services.<\/li>\n<li>Share with other researchers by posting to Facebook and Twitter or e-mail articles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Getting Started<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The BrowZine mobile app is freely available for the iPhone\/iPod touch\/iPad (running iOS 7.x+) from the <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/browzine\/id463787411?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">Apple App Store<\/a>, Android devices (running OS 4.1+) from the <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.browzine\" target=\"_blank\">Google Play Store<\/a>, and Kindle Fire HD tablets from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Third-Iron-LLC-BrowZine-Edition\/dp\/B00D553D42\/ref=sr_1_1?s=mobile-apps&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1377711996&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=browzine\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon Appstore for Android<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To use the mobile app, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download the app onto your mobile device.<\/li>\n<li>When you first open the app, under \u201cChoose Library\u201d you\u2019ll see a list of schools. Select <strong>University of Pittsburgh<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll then be asked to enter your <strong>Pitt Computer Account username and password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you are using an Apple product, you\u2019ll be prompted to register in order to sync across your devices.
