The <em>eLife<\/em> initiative aims to bring funders and researchers together in a unique collaboration with the overall goal to communicate new research findings in life and biomedical sciences.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>eLife<\/em> journal is expected to be launched this winter. In the interim, the full content of its first collection of articles is now available and can be accessed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elifesciences.org\/the-journal\/articles\" target=\"_blank\"><em>eLife<\/em>: The Journal<\/a>, the National Library of Medicine\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\" target=\"_blank\">PMC<\/a> digital journal archive, and its mirror sites including <a href=\"http:\/\/europepmc.org\/journals\/1950\" target=\"_blank\">UK PubMed Central<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Access to the full content of the journal is free and available immediately upon publication.
