Reader comments are welcome. The Web site is based on Google\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/knol.google.com\/k\/plos-currents-influenza\" target=\"_blank\">Knol<\/a> software. Similar in concept to a Web-based wiki, Knol is an easy-to-use platform for formal knowledge sharing, with author-controlled options for collaboration and communication.<\/p>\n<p>Articles on PLoS Currents: Influenza constitute Rapid Research Notes\u2019 first collection.
