No problem! You can access HSLS resources remotely.<\/p>\n<h3>Pitt Passport<\/h3>\n<p>Remote access for library resources requires a valid Pitt username and password,\u00a0<em>plus a second method of verification<\/em>\u00a0through an app or phone line. This is called\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.technology.pitt.edu\/services\/multifactor-authentication-pitt\">multifactor authentication<\/a>, which can be done in three steps. If you have problems setting up multifactor authentication, contact the Pitt IT Help Desk at 412-624-4357. To do this, direct your browser to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/\">HSLS website<\/a>\u00a0and click on the desired resource. You\u2019ll be redirected to the Pitt Passport login page. Log in with your valid Pitt username and password. Once you are logged in, you will be able to access HSLS resources in your browser as if you were working on-site. If you are able to log in to remote access but are having trouble accessing an HSLS resource, please contact\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/ask-a-librarian\">HSLS Ask a Librarian<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Reload via HSLS<\/h3>\n<p>If you find that you frequently have to log in via Pitt\u2019s remote access while working off-site, you can install the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/remote\">Reload via HSLS<\/a>\u201d bookmarklet link in your browser for even faster access to HSLS resources. When you click on the bookmarklet link, you will be prompted to log in to Pitt remote access, and then will instantly be routed back to the now fully available article or resource. For those working outside the UPMC network, remote access is provided through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/myapps.upmc.edu\/\">UPMC MyApps<\/a>.
