On September 23, 2024, HSLS invites you to join your health sciences colleagues for a panel discussion on health care reform, policy, and health equity<\/a>. This conversation expands on the historical topics of the exhibit For All The People: A Century of Citizen Action in Health Care Reform<\/a>, which is currently on display at Falk Library.<\/p>\n

Moderating the panel is Tina Batra Hershey<\/a>, associate professor and co-director of the MPH and MPH\/JD programs in the School of Public Health, faculty in Health Policy and Management, and affiliated professor in the School of Law.<\/p>\n

The panel begins <\/span><\/span>at 4 p.m. <\/span><\/span><\/span>in <\/span><\/span>A<\/span><\/span><\/span>uditorium <\/span><\/span>A, 3<\/span><\/span><\/span>rd<\/span><\/span><\/span> fl<\/span><\/span><\/span>oor <\/span><\/span><\/span>of Alan Magee Scaife Hall<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> Immediately following the panel, join us downstairs in Falk Library for an hors d\u2019oeuvres reception while you view the exhibit. In addition to the exhibit materials provided by the National Library of Medicine, <\/span><\/span>the exhibit also features <\/span><\/span><\/span>student posters, <\/span><\/span><\/span>a <\/span><\/span><\/span>Disability Rights display case, and <\/span><\/span><\/span>a selection of <\/span><\/span><\/span>books on related topics. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Visitors <\/span><\/span><\/span>with a Pitt ID can enter<\/span><\/span><\/span> a drawing to<\/span><\/span><\/span> win<\/span><\/span><\/span> a Panera gift <\/span><\/span><\/span>card,<\/span><\/span><\/span> check for details at the library\u2019s Main Desk.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
