Resources currently include:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/\">PubMed Central (PMC)<\/a>: a public, freely available digital archive of peer-reviewed biomedical and life sciences literature that offers a wide range of journal articles to inform the monkeypox response<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/genbank\/\">GenBank<\/a>: through the genetic sequence database, monkeypox sequence submissions are being prioritized in the review process<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/clinicaltrials.gov\/ct2\/results?cond=Monkeypox&amp;term=&amp;cntry=&amp;state=&amp;city=&amp;dist=\">ClinicalTrials.gov<\/a>: the world\u2019s largest publicly accessible database of privately and publicly funded clinical studies is also prioritizing monkeypox-related submissions<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/monkeypoxvirusinfections.html\">MedlinePlus<\/a>: the authoritative consumer-oriented information on monkeypox has been updated with new content from the <span class=\"desc-text\"><span class=\"orgs\">National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases<\/span><\/span> and the <span class=\"desc-text\"><span class=\"orgs\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For more information, please read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/news\/NLM_Leverages_Its_Information_Resources_To_Improve_Access_To_Monkeypox_Related_Literature_and_Research.html\">NLM news release<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Library of Medicine (NLM) is working to accelerate the global monkeypox response through initiatives that expand access to scientific literature, sequence data, clinical trial information, and consumer health information related to monkeypox.
