Names in bold are HSLS-affiliated<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n News<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Kate Flewelling<\/strong>, NNLM MAR Executive Director, began her one-year term as Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association.<\/p>\n Tess Wilson<\/strong> joined HSLS as the new Community Engagement Coordinator for NNLM MAR. Tess has an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chatham University. Tess was most recently at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh where she developed programming for underrepresented populations and promoted the integration of data literacy into community workshops.<\/p>\n Tessa Zindren<\/strong> has been promoted to Program Manager for NNLM MAR. In her new position, Tessa provides program management support for the NNLM MAR program, including administrative assistance for the subaward program; managing customer engagement tracking; oversight for outreach materials, including the NNLM Reading Club; ownership of the NNLM MAR general email account and phone number; preparing reports, correspondence and other documentation, along with other general management and clerical duties.<\/p>\n Publications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n S. Baumann, M. Merante, B.L. Folb<\/strong>, retired Public Health Informationist, et al., published \u201cIs Film as a Research Tool the Future of Public Health? A Review of Study Designs, Opportunities, and Challenges<\/a>\u201d in Qualitative Health Research<\/em>, September 19, 2019.<\/p>\n A.H. Farkas,\u00a0 J. Allenbaugh, E. Bonifacino, Rose Turner<\/strong>, Coordinator of Liaison Services, et al., published “Mentorship of US Medical Students: a Systematic Review<\/a>” in the Journal of General Internal Medicine<\/em>, \u00a02019, 1-8.<\/p>\n Presentation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Michelle Burda<\/strong>, NNLM MAR Education & Health Literacy Coordinator, presented the NNLM webinar \u201cUnderstanding the Opioid Crisis: Where do I Begin?\u201d on August 20.
