Ansuman Chattopadhyay has been promoted to HSLS Assistant Director for Molecular Biology Information Services. Dr. Chattopadhyay was recruited to HSLS in 2002 to develop the HSLS Information Service in Molecular Biology (MBIS). The MBIS offers consultation and workshops for faculty and graduate students, along with a wide array of licensed software packages. Dr. Chattopadhyay is nationally recognized as a leader in this field, and his unique expertise contributes substantially to the research and educational mission of the health sciences at Pitt.

Linda Hartman, Research and Instruction Librarian, was renewed for membership in the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) at the Distinguished Member level.
