This 90 minutes hands-on class will show you how to create an account, find free templates and stock photos, upload your own images, and download or print your finished product. Basic elements of design will also be discussed. (ONLINE)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #cd518f\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/instruction\/visual-abstracts\/4159\">Visual Abstracts<\/a>, Tuesday 26th, 12-1pm<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learn how to visually summarize your article information to increase the reach of your research.<\/p>\n<p>This is a &#8220;flipped class&#8221; format. Upon registration you will receive links to 4 videos (~30 min total) that you can watch on your schedule, along with a couple of suggested activities to create your own Visual Abstracts.<\/p>\n<p>During the scheduled class time we will divide into breakout rooms and provide feedback on each other\u2019s Visual Abstracts. The instructors will also answer any questions that you have about creating them.\u00a0 (ONLINE)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #cd518f\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/instruction\/advanced-powerpoint-presentations\/102\">Advanced PowerPoint for Presentations<\/a>, Tuesday, 26th, 2-3:30pm<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This hands-on workshop demonstrates ways to incorporate design, images, videos, diagrams, and animations into your PowerPoint presentations.
