Now what? In this class we will learn how to use Tableau to demonstrate the significance of your data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #27a6a7\">Tuesday 10th, 10am &#8211; 11am<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/instruction\/graphic-design-canva\/3054\">Graphic Design with Canva<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn how to make attention-getting posters and presentation graphics with Canva, a free online graphic design platform. This hands-on class will show you how to create an account, find free templates and stock photos, upload your own images, and download or print your finished product. Basic elements of design will also be discussed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #27a6a7\">Tuesday 10th, 1pm &#8211; 2pm<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/instruction\/infographics-sharing-information-visually\/179\">Infographics: Sharing Information Visually<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make your raw data more appealing and consumable with infographics. In this class, you&#8217;ll learn what infographics are and how they can make data easier to understand and share. Finally, we\u2019ll wrap up by demonstrating an online resource (Piktochart) so you\u2019ll be ready to create your own infographics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #27a6a7\">Wednesday 11th, 10am &#8211; 11am<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsls.pitt.edu\/instruction\/data-visualization-r-ggplot2\/5525\">Data Visualization in R with ggplot2<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This class covers the creating visualization of data using the ggplot2 package in R. This is a\u00a0<strong>flipped<\/strong>\u00a0class and the\u00a0<strong>third part<\/strong>\u00a0of a\u00a0series:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hsls.libguides.com\/MBISworkshops\/Rintro\"><em>Introduction to R<\/em><\/a>;\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/hsls.libguides.com\/MBISworkshops\/Rdatamanagement\">Data Management in R<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Data Visualization in R<\/em>. Upon registration, you will receive links to workshop materials (<strong>PowerPoint slides<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>lecture videos<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>practice exercises<\/strong>) that you can view on your schedule.
