Upon registration, you will receive links to workshop materials (<strong>PowerPoint slides<\/strong>, <strong>lecture videos<\/strong>, and <strong>practice exercises<\/strong>) that you can view on your schedule. During the class, you will learn how to solve the exercise problems.<\/p>\n<p>Upon completion, participants will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>identify components of the R interface<\/li>\n<li>perform simple calculations in R<\/li>\n<li>identify and compare data types in R<\/li>\n<li>use existing functions in R<\/li>\n<li>write simple functions in R<\/li>\n<li>load external packages in R<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #dea20d\">Workshop Guide: <\/span><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hsls.libguides.com\/MBISworkshops\/Rintro\">https:\/\/hsls.libguides.com\/MBISworkshops\/Rintro<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #dea20d\">Target Audience: <\/span><\/strong>Novice R users or anyone seeking to learn how to use R for data analysis and graphics.
