Barbara Epstein, director, was appointed to a two-year term (2011-2013) as Co-Chair of the Future Leadership Committee of the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries.
Michele Klein-Fedyshin, reference librarian, has been appointed the Medical Library Association’s Hospital Library Section representative to the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Conference for a four-year term.

Melissa Ratajeski, reference librarian, presented a paper “By Librarians for Librarians: A Database to Share Biomedical Terminology and Strategies for Comprehensive Searches” at the Medical Library Association Mid Atlantic Chapter’s annual conference, in Richmond, VA on October 12, 2011. Co-authors were Ahlam Saleh, reference librarian, and John LaDue, knowledge integration librarian.
