Join the library to watch the webinar: “Request for Information on Proposed Provisions for a Draft NIH Data Mangement and Sharing Policy” which will discuss the proposed key provisions that could serve as the foundation for a future NIH policy for data management and sharing.  After the webinar, Helenmary Sheridan, Data Services Librarian, will lead a brief discussion about data sharing and the Pitt Data Catalog, a data-discovery platform from the Pitt HSLS team that can help you increase the visibility of your datasets without necessarily making them public.

On October 10, 2018, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a Request for Information (RFI) in the NIH Guide to Grants and Contracts to solicit public input on these provisions (comments will be accepted through December 10, 2018, and can be made electronically by visiting here).
