Join the HSLS Data Management Group and Molecular Biology Information Service to watch an NCBI webinar on SRA submissions, discussing five different ways to submit next-generation sequencing data to SRA, including the new SRA submission portal (beta) which allows you to submit data via FTP and the Aspera command line, Illumina’s BaseSpace, MOTHUR, and the iPlant Collaborative.
After the webinar we will briefly demo an online tool (DMPTool) to help you create a data management plan that includes the template “NIH-GDS: Genomic Data Sharing,” written specifically for the new NIH Genomic Data Sharing Policy (GDS) and includes suggested responses and guidance from Pitt’s IRB and Office of Research (OOR) in one location.
